An unashamedy Catholic exhibition of Spanish religious art (painting and sculpture) from 1600 to 1700 at the National Gallery on until 24 January 2010, I believe. Admission is £11 (concessions £8) and the audio guide £3.

What helps to make the exhibition worthwhile is that, first of all, it is presented quite sympathetically (there is no attempt to ridicule or mock) and that there is an excellent commentary that emphasises the spiritual quality of this work. Some of this is given by Fr James Hanvey, SJ, from Heythrop College. And apart from all that, some of it is quite beautiful.
