CAFOD have launched a £1 million appeal to help the people of Eastern Congo, where 250,000 people are homeless, thousands are living in makeshift camps, and there is a desperate need for the essentials to maintain life. CAFOD is working with Four Caritas church agencies in the Congo to get aid out quickly. We realise you have only recently given to Harvest Fast Day, but we hope that, once again, you will respond generously to the people who so urgently need help, and that you will keep them in your prayers. A retiring collection will be taken at all Masses next Sunday weekend 22nd/23rd November. Thank you.
