Sea Sunday - July 12th

The aim of the Sea Sunday appeal is to enable the Apostleship of the Sea (AoS) to provide their pastoral outreach to over one million seafarers a year who work away from home and loved ones for up to a year at a time in grueling and often dangerous conditions. Across the country there are now 1,000 ships and 20,000 seafarers visited each month by trained Catholic pastoral workers. Masses celebrated onboard ships are regular events in many ports. AoS is an independent charity who rely solely on voluntary donations to continue its ministry.

Mass at St. Joachim with St. Richard's Catholic College

Pupils from St Richard's Catholic College will be leading the music and readings at the 9:30am Mass on June 21st, as well as being involved in the offertory and welcoming party. This is a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to be recognised in their parishes as St Richard’s pupils and for this reason we ask that pupils wear full school uniform.
