Easter Offertory

The Offertory collection at the Easter Masses will be shared equally between helping the work of the Sisters of Mercy Hospital at Mutomo, Kitui, Kenya and the School of the Infant Jesus Sisters in Cameroun.

Seeing Salvation: The Cross - Sunday March 28th

On Sunday, March 28th at Christ the King, there will be a showing of "Seeing Salvation: The Cross" introduced by Neil MacGregor, formerly Director of the National Gallery, London.

A look at this part of the life of Jesus as seen through the works of some of the greatest artists of Western Europe.

Tea/coffee served in the Christ the King Parish Room from 7.30pm; Showing of DVD from 8.00pm. It lasts about 50 minutes.

The Holy Rood Reopens April 24th

After completion of the maintenance work The Holy Rood reopens for MAss on Saturday, April 24th at 4pm.

Christ the King Care Group Events

Celebrate CAFOD's 50th

On Saturday 20th March from 3 - 5.30pm the parishes and Catholic schools in the Deaneries of St Leonards and Eastbourne will join together at St Richard's Catholic College to celebrate the work of CAFOD.

Following an Opening Liturgy there will be a number of exhibitions, activities and workshops to help you learn more about CAFOD. Refreshments will be available, together with a Fairtrade stall and a closing liturgy.

Do come along and join the celebration.
