Where Is God?

A couple had two little boys, ages eight and ten, who were excessively mischievous.

The two were always getting into trouble and their parents could be confident that if any mischief occurred in their town, their two young sons were involved in some capacity. The parents were at their wit's end as to what to do about their sons' behavior.

The parents had heard that a priest in town had been successful in disciplining children in the past, so they contacted him, and he agreed to give it his best shot. He asked to see the boys individually, so the eight-year-old was sent to meet with him first. The priest sat the boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?"

The boy made no response, so the priest repeated the question in an even sterner tone, "Where is God?"

Again the boy made no attempt to answer, so the priest raised his voice even more and shook his finger in the boy's face, "WHERE IS GOD?"

At that, the boy bolted from the room, ran directly home, and slammed himself in his wardrobe. His older brother followed him into the wardrobe and said, "What happened?"

The younger brother replied, "We are in BIG trouble this time. God is missing and they think we did it!"

Barry's Page - New Web Page

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed a new web page has been added to the web site. Called 'Barry's Page' it is intended to provided Father Barry with an opportunity to publish anything that doesn't find a natural home elsewhere - be it the newsletter or the homily.

As the administrator of the web site I'm looking forward to seeing Barry's contributions, especially as it requires no involvement from me to get Barry's pieces online. I hope you too will be eager to see what Barry has to say and will make a point of visiting the web site regularly to see what is new on Barry's Page.

For those interested in how Barry can do this with no web site technical knowledge at all, the secret is that the contents of the page are automatically loaded from a word processing document that is saved on the Internet using a facility called Google Documents. So all that Barry needs to know is how to access the document and to use his basic word processing skills.

Who knows, perhaps Eugene and Ita would like to have their own web pages as well. What do you think?
